This weekend I'm headed to Reading festival - AMPING to see Radiohead , but for those of you who couldn't grab tickets in time to join us there, fear not, as the weekend after there is some absolute madness due to unfold way down in Cornwalls far west.
OCEANDAZE festival kick starts Autumn and says sayonara to Summer down in Sennen starting Friday the 4th and ending on the 6th. Meanwhile, in the midst of the chaos, the GREENAWAY PRO , in memory of our good friend Tom Greenaway looks set to blow minds on Saturday the 5th, with none other than me own band STRAYS headlining!
So get tickets for both here before they sell out, and hit the road to the dark depths of the corn for some welcome debauchery and mad goodtimes...Savvy!

Been up in Manchester the past couplea weeks recording and rehearsing heavily for a run of Strays gigs around the UK. We've put the first tune up on our MYSPACE now if you want to have a listen, there'll be plenty more to follow. Kick started this road trip with a banging show at Manchesters legendary Night and Day last night, and we're headed to King Tuts in Glasgow for this Saturday, followed by the Deaf Institute in Manchester on the 3rd September, and then the Guildhall in St Ives for the Greenaway pro on the 5th Sept. Heres a few quick shots from a much needed break between rehearsals outside our cave...

Mega congrats to Mike Stewart, at 46 still beating the worlds best bodyboarders in heavy waves. Mike took out the Arica challenge in Chile 20 years after he first won the Pipe comp. He now leads the world tour ratings, over a field of younger nutters in their prime, it's an epic example of how mental power knows no limits. An incredible achievement for the most inspiring waterman out there... Yeah Stewbags...

The Boardmasters Vert final went down on Sunday evening to a packed beach in glorious sunshine. I was blown away by what these lads were doing up there, somethin else man, really was. Sam Bosworth, Terence Bougdour, Neal Hendrix, Joris Berchit, Sam Beckett and Alex Perelson, hats off to you boyzees. Great to see Neil Hendrix still rockin - during one run the commentator said back in the day hendrix had won the xgames the year cornish boy Sam Bosworth was born, crazy. Anyways, it was easily the most interesting thing I witnessed all week, imagine what those guys must be feeling, knowing what they can do but freaking with so many folk standing right under the ramp on all sides, Pantera blaring on the sound system, and crazy money up for grabs. Intense... So much more amping to watch than surfing tiny waves thats for sure, have a watch here for kicks...

Phil 'Toinzy' Gallagher has one razor sharp photographic eye, is quite possibly the man with the most entertaining travel calamities you will ever hear, and has always been a close friend, mentor and mega inspiration of mine.
The cats started his own high quality mag named le boogie placing huge emphasis on the photographic end of the spectrum, and it looks set to blow minds.
